CAORI
PSI introduces a new compact, multi-modal, high-resolution, adaptive- optics, retinal imager. This powerful imaging platform is designed for fast, cone-photoreceptor density mapping and precise imaging of other retinal structures (e.g., Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer, retinal vessels and capillaries, etc.).
The unique capabilities of the new multimodal instrument enables clinicians to gather high quality images of the skin cancer lesions, determine their lateral and depth margins, and guide therapy.
Noninvasive/Minimally Invasive Diagnostics
OCT, combined with other imaging modalities, provides powerful diagnostic capability for minimally- or non-invasive techniques. See the tools we produce for these applications.

Radiation Sensors Information

OWL is a contextual system that can be coupled with a suite of other detectors to provide actionable intelligence and enhanced situational awareness. The system integrates visible and thermal cameras with PSI’s powerful onboard machine vision and keypoint tracking algorithms. OWL can also operate as a standalone, advanced camera system.
The PERM gamma detector provides gamma detection and isotope identification. It uses a low-cost 2 in x 4 in x 16 in NaI(Tl) crystal, enclosed in an IP67-rated housing, as the scintillation material. The crystal/photomultiplier tube (PMT) package is a commercial item supplied by St. Gobain. The design associated with the packaging of the COTS scintillator is driven by the need to provide medium-resolution (~8%) gamma spectra (30 – 3000 keV) with accurate and stable energy calibration.
PERM-Mobile is an advanced radiation detection and source identification system that can be easily configured for mobile and static applications. The system provides fast vehicle integration with power provided through the 12V vehicle supply. The PERM-Mobile uses a local WiFi network and a tablet which provides the user interface and processes the detection algorithms.
MURS is an advanced mobile radiation detection, identification and source localization system coupled with day/night contextual imaging and inertial navigation subsystems discreetly installed in a 4x4 vehicle. The standard MURS includes a Chevrolet Tahoe SSV and is complete with a low-profile law enforcement package.

Tactical Products

Deployable Man-Portable Antennas
PSI produces high gain antennas that fold into a cargo pocket using a combination of advanced materials and manufacturing. They unfold in less than a second to provide broadband (150 MHz to 3 GHz) communications on the move with a low-profile antenna.
reel
The REEL, Rapid Emergency Evacuation Litter is a revolutionary, lightweight evacuation litter/stretcher specifically designed to meet the needs of tactical field care. It is the lightest and most compact quad folding litter ever made.

ISR Systems

Compact IR 3D range imaging sensor employing compressive sensing (CS) for deployment on small ground and air robotic platforms.
Compact VNIR/SWIR HSI sensor compatible with small rotary wing UAS operation with application to disturbed earth detection and vegetation/mineral mapping
Tagging, Tracking, and Locating Tools
PSI has developed a range of low-cost passive and semi-active tagging tracking and locating tools for use in tracking uncooperative targets, marking and navigation, and IFF applications. These capabilities are enabled by unique applications of quantum dots, luminescent chemistry, and hyperspectral imaging of thin films.

Laser Based Sensors

GasScan™ is PSI’s single board platform utilized in multiple TDL sensor products. It is a complete Wavelength Modulation Spectroscopy system on a single 6” x 6” battery-powered circuit board. It includes laser control, data processing and communications yet draws less than 1 W.
Our pharmaceutical products target aseptic fill/finish manufacturing applications including manufacturing operations that utilize barrier isolators and lyophilization, often used to process the fastest growing segment of the pharmaceutical industry, biopharmaceuticals.
Tunable Diode Laser (TDL) Gas Sensors
Tunable Diode Laser Gas Sensors are typically in situ sensors that take advantage of robust and mature telecom components in order to offer high precision, high accuracy, and highly selective detection of trace gases with application to a variety of commercial, industrial, defense and environmental problems. PSI has also pioneered the application of TDL sensing to measurements of temperature, pressure, velocity, and mass flux.
SHSCAD
Wide area, high areal coverage rate surface contaminant detection via LWIR reflectance spectroscopy employing eye safe broadband quantum cascade lasers (QCLs) and a high-speed spatial heterodyne spectrometer (SHS) in a handheld sensor package (~ 10,000 cm3, 10 lb).
