Physical Sciences Inc., located just north of Boston in Andover, is looking for a versatile mechanical engineer with a background in the development of spacecraft platforms and foldable structures. The successful candidate will work with a small team of scientists and engineers to develop advanced concepts for a range of applications. The position requires the ability to design, build, and test components in a small company environment. Experience with composite materials, small mechanisms, RF systems and antennas, or spacecraft systems are all significant discriminators. Applicants with prior experience in the development of cubesats or microsats are highly desirable.

BS degree in a relevant field and 10 years’ experience or a Master’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience is required.
