Q-Peak seeks an experienced Opto-Mechanical engineer with 5-10 years minimum experience in the design and Finite Element Analysis (mech and thermal) of lasers and active electro-optical assemblies for defense and aerospace environments. Multiple projects require creative design for SWaP optimization while achieving operational stability in challenging environments. This is an opportunity for a mid-career Opto-Mech to really stretch the wings and take a leadership role in the development of Q-Peak’s growing engineering capability.

Educational background in Mechanical engineering at the Master’s level or above is required. This being augmented by optics knowledge is a decided benefit. Past or active Security clearance at the Secret level or above is a positive.
